Guide and Walkthrough of Mass Effect: Andromeda - Tips and Tricks #5
3. Curved stripes - the blue ones show the level of the protective shield, and the red ones show the points of life. Both are equally important, although losing a shield does not equal a loss, unlike running out of HP. The shield is restored automatically when we are behind cover during a fight.
4. Icons with images of satellites accompanying us during the mission. One is on the left and the other is on the right - it's worth remembering the order when we want to give orders to move a certain character (by pressing the right or left keys on the keyboard or X or C on the keyboard).
5. Icons equipped with heroes. The blue part of the icon shows the time remaining until the power is reloaded (the same means that the blue part is visible on the crosshair in the center of the screen). The white icons in the corner of each power rectangle indicate whether the ability is an igniter (circle) or a detonator (explosion icon).
HUD Nomad
The icons on the screen change when we get into our car. Nevertheless, the interface remains clear and quite legible. Below we will describe the individual elements associated with the nomad.
1. Mining computer. This window starts flashing as we pass through the mineral deposits. You can open them to view the number of resources available in your area.
2. Driving mode. The icon indicates whether we have raised the chassis (active off-road mode). However, it is easier to assess this by looking at the car. In off-road mode, the rear engine lights up orange. Off-road mode is necessary to access higher hills. The modes can be changed using the L1/LT button or the right mouse button.
3. Torsion mode. Indicates whether the Nomad is currently more maneuverable or stable. The option to enable the best turning mode is unlocked as the car evolves.
4. Afterburner camera icon. Click the button listed here to make the Nomad speed up quickly in a short time. After use, a blue indicator will appear on the icon indicating the waiting time for the afterburner to be used again.
5. The transition icon. Press the specified button to activate boosters under the chassis, allowing you to jump. You can also use a jump when falling from high altitudes to slow down a bit.
6. The shield indicators, the endurance (health) level of the car, as well as the speed meter.
Changing weapons and circular menus
As with many modern shooters, Mass Effect: Andromeda also offers a selection of weapons and abilities that guarantee quick access to equipped tools. We'll briefly explain how this works in the game.
